The Animal Kingdom includes:

Invertebrates (Animals without backbones):

Porifera - Sponges

Cnidaria - include hydra, jellyfish and sea anemones.

Flatworms (Platyhelminthes) - include flatworms, tapeworms and blood flukes

Roundworms (Nematodes) - include Ascaris, the human roundworm

Ringed worms (Annelids) - include earthworm, leech, ragworm and tube worm.

Molluscs - include slug, snail, mussel, squid, octopus, whelk.

Echinoderms - include starfish, brittle star and sea urchin.

The following invertebrates are Arthropods. - They have jointed legs, segmented bodies and a skeleton on the outside called an exoskeleton.

Crustaceans - include woodlouse, crab, lobster, barnacle, shrimp, daphnia.

Myriapods - include centipede and millipede.

Arachnids - include spider, scorpion, tick and mite.
