In the classroom: Discuss what would live in a woodland.
In a habitat: Discover the animals and plants that live there.
Find out if those animals and plants help other animals and plants as they go about their daily lives.
The children work in groups and use the worksheets provided to decide which jobs, from a list of six, each animal and plant does.
They will find that every plant and animal has at least three jobs and that those jobs help other animals and plants.
In the classroom: One class all day or one class am and one pm.
In local habitat such as woodland: one or two classes am and one or two classes pm.
